While she’s been the star of a number of campaigns, Abbey Lee Kershaw‘s presence in magazine editorials has, for want of a better term, plummeted this year. That may in part come down to less demand for the grunger, rocker girl – after all, the demand for classic beauties has conversely increased and when the likes of Isabeli Fontana can work a Sophia Loren-esque look to perfection, and Arizona Muse could be a Lauren Bacall carbon copy, it’s no surprise the casting options are wider for the latter girls. It may also be a more simple case of a much-exposed model wanting to take breath for a while.
Either way, Abbey Lee is back in Numero for the September 2011 issue in a shoot that’s suitably dramatic.
