Day 3 of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2011 brings us a dramatic eye with hues of coral, purple and gold created by Make Up For Ever Alliance artist Lottie for the Luli Fama show.
Complexion & Cheeks: The skin was bronzed and glowing and the cheeks were highlighted with a peachy contour using Aqua Cream #5.
Eyes: The eyes were the focal point of the look. Apply Aqua Cream #5 to the lid and crease, blending it out to soften the color. Starting in the middle of the lid, sweep Star Powder #954 in purple upward and outward into the crease, covering the outer part of the eye lid. Next, take Star Powder #953 in orange and apply it from the inner corner of the eye upward covering the lid, stopping at where the purple begins. For added drama, Lottie applied Faux Lash #157. She then lined the upper and lower eyes using Waterproof Liner #1 in black and applied a thick coat of Aqua Smoky Lash. To complete the eyes and add a metallic accent, she applied Aqua Cream #11 in gold to the inner corners of the eyes.
Lips: Lottie gave the models a shiny, nude lip using Glossy Full Couleur #10.

Laetitia Casta takes on the role of Mae West for Harper’s Bazaar in a special editorial by Jean Paul Goude; the tongue in cheek tale follows Laetitia as she reenacts many of Mae’s classic moments. Known for her bawdy humor and come-hither attire, West was the perfect muse for the sexy story which features a slew of over the top couture pieces. It doesn’t get more lavish than Laetitia acting as tiger trainer in head to toe Dior.

Have you ever been to Paris at Moulin Rouge cabaret? Well if you haven’t had the chance yet, at least now you will get to wear the same makeup as those Parisian dancers from Moulin Rouge thanks to Make Up For Ever newest collection for
fall 2010, called
Moulin Rouge.
Seems like there was a collaboration between Make Up For Ever creator Dany Sanz and Janet Pharaoh, the ballet mistress from Moulin Rouge, for creating a new makeup collection inspired by the colors of the Parisian famous cabaret.
